I’m Rania Saad Mahmoud Ali a senior clinical pharmacist with a master degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Clinical Pharmacy) and 12 years of experience in pharmacy practice and drug information at Assiut University Children’s Hospital, Egypt. I provide clinical pharmacy services to patients within the pediatric intensive care unit and clinical nutrition unit in the hospital as a member of a patient care team that includes professors, physicians, and nurses. My specific duties on the team include ensuring that the medications prescribed to patients are the correct ones, and confirming that they’re being given in the correct doses at the proper times. When the patient care team is making care plans for patients, it’s also my responsibility to make medication recommendations. I’m a highly organized and hard-working individual looking to expand my learnings, knowledge, skills and disseminate my practical experience knowledge, sharing it so that all can benefit.
